1) What this policy covers

This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

2) Data we collect

• Photos & user content: selfies and images you upload to generate hairstyles/videos.
• Usage data & diagnostics: app interactions, performance and crash logs.
• Device data: device model, OS version, language, approximate region.
• Purchase data: subscription status, in-app purchases, and receipts (via Apple/RevenueCat).
• Identifiers: app-scoped identifiers for analytics and fraud prevention.
• Support messages: if you contact us, we collect the message and your email.

We do not collect precise location unless you explicitly share it. We do not sell personal data.

3) How we use data

• Provide core features (AI hairstyle try-on, color changes, video reels)
• Improve accuracy, performance, and stability
• Prevent abuse and fraud
• Process subscriptions/credits and restore purchases
• Customer support and service communications
• (If enabled) privacy-friendly analytics to improve product decisions

4) On-device vs server processing

On device: UI rendering, cached previews, basic processing.

Server-side: AI generation of images/videos (temporary processing of the image you submit). We automatically delete transient generation files after 24 hours. Final results you save may persist in your account cache until you delete them or clear the app data.

5) Data sharing

We share data only with trusted processors to run the App:

• Apple In-App Purchases and/or RevenueCat – purchase validation and subscription status
• Analytics/Crash Reporting (e.g., Apple, Firebase) – aggregated diagnostics
• AI compute provider – temporary processing for generation

All processors are bound by data protection agreements.

6) Retention

• Generation artifacts: deleted within 24 hours
• Purchase records: retained as required for accounting/tax
• Support emails: 2 years or until deletion request
• Backups: per our standard backup rotation (30 days)

7) Your rights

Depending on your region (e.g., GDPR/UK-GDPR/CCPA), you may request:

• Access, correction, deletion
• Portability (where applicable)
• Objection or restriction to certain processing
• Do-Not-Sell/Share (CCPA) – we do not sell data

8) Children

The App is not intended for users under the age of 13. If you believe a child provided data, contact us to remove it.

9) International transfers

Data may be processed in countries outside your own. We use lawful transfer mechanisms (e.g., SCCs) where required.

10) Changes to this policy

We'll update this page and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be highlighted in-app or on our site.
